3. Students not College Ready may retest on the TSI, complete MATH 0300 or MATH 0399, or complete a non-
    course based option. Contact CASA for details on becoming College Ready.

4. Placement by the above sceme can be challenged through a local exam. Call (361) 825-2459.
5. Credit with grade of "C" serves as prerequisite for courses at the next higher level.
6. Minimum scores for New SAT Math test taken March 2016 and forward per Admissions and SAT Concordance Tables.

PSA STUDENTS NOTE: 

Please be advised – Some coursework may
have STRICT prerequisites.  Example: 
Some
majors require Calculus I in the Fall semester and the TAMU-CC Math department
requires the following pre-requisites:  Either SAT Math of 620, or ACT
Math of 27, or Took Calculus I in high school with a grade of A or B, or
completed at the community college "Pre-Calculus". 
Additionally:  Other PSA majors may require MATH 1324 in the Fall semester
and the TAMU-CC Math department requires the following pre-requisites:  Either
SAT Math of 520, or ACT math of 21, or Took Pre-Calculus in high school, or
completed at the community college "College Algebra".  If you are on a PSA plan that requires PHYS 2425
and 2426 you must complete Calculus I prior entering TAMUCC.
