Meet Our Staff
Dr. Jerilee Milligan
Dr. Jerilee Milligan is from Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Del Mar College with her Associate's degree in Liberal Arts. She later went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in English, a Master's degree in Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Her advice to students is to visit the Transition Center any time through out their academic journey.
Bill Coari was raised in Corpus Christi. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physical Education from Texas A&I (now A&M) in Kingsville. After his tenure at UT-Arlington as an Instructor and Advisor, Bill returned to home in 2008 to become an Academic Advisor in the College of Education at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. In 2011, Bill joined the Transition Center where he helps new students and promotes our online degree program called Degree Works.
|Dr. Rachel Kirk
As the daughter of a Naval officer, Dr. Rachel Kirk grew up on the east coast and overseas. She received her Bachelor's in Psychology from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina, and her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. After receiving her Ph.D., she returned to the east coast to work as a licensed mental health counselor and manager. She joined the TAMU-CC family in 2009. She enjoys assisting students with the transition into Islander life and promoting the pursuit of higher education.
Kelsey was raised in West Texas. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University. She then moved to New Mexico to work for a community college as a retention specialist and academic advisor. In 2014, she relocated to the Texas Gulf Coast and joined the Islander Transition Center at TAMUCC.
Jacqueline is originally from the coast of North Carolina, where she lived until she relocated to the Gulf Coast in 2013. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke with degrees in Public Relations and Broadcasting in 2004. Since graduation, she has worked in college admissions, but made the ‘transition’ to advising in the Islander Transition Center at TAMUCC in 2014. Jacqueline is looking forward to assisting future and current Islanders with academics, involvement and life on the Island University. Go Islanders!
Lisa is from Rockport, Texas and graduated from Del Mar College with her Associate's degree in Applied Science. She has been employed at the University for over 15 years, and enjoys working with students to help them achieve their educational goals.
